Inmarsat Fleet training seminar

Have a play with the Inmarsat BGAN terminals - learn more about what Inmarsat's current and future services to the maritime industry
Inmarsat will be providing a free concise Fleet training session on the morning of conference day 2, (January 26) in a separate break-out room, for the benefit of both maritime IT professionals and ship operators.
The session will last around 3 hours. Topics covered will include:
* Background to Inmarsat and existing communications channels
* Inmarsat Fleet channels: MPDS and ISDN (including a commercial focus on the appropriate use of channels).
* Hardware issues - peripherals and terminal connectivity
* Inmarsat Distress and Safety fundamentals
* Software applications (examples and appropriate usage)
* BGAN and FleetBroadband (including hardware demonstration of BGAN terminal)
