Dr. Panagiotis Nomikos is president of AMMITEC, the Association of Maritime Managers of Information Technology and Communications. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences of the University of Sussex, UK. In 1992 - 95 he participated in the establishment of Stelmar Tankers as the I.T. Manager. He established Netshipbrokers.com, a pioneering maritime online Chartering service that today is the most experienced and largest service of its kind with over 6,000 maritime professionals who have become Members. He is also a Professor of Information Technology at the New York College (the Athens branch of New Paltz College of the State University of New York).

George Hoyt is CEO of NewsLink Services, which provides an electronic English language newspaper that sends "good news from home" from 32 countries, plus safety messages and entertainment services, to seafarers at sea on more than 3,000 ships "everyday", as an e-mail attachment.
George is on the advisory committee of the Nautical Institute / Lloyds Register "Human Element Research Initiative". He was executive director of ship-shore communications company Rydex. He is a companion to the Nautical Institute and a member of the Cyprus Shipping Council's ICT Working Group and Manning and Training Sub-Committee. George lives in Hawaii. He speaks at several maritime conferences around the world every year.

The company currently operates a very modern fleet of 41 vessels, totalling nearly 3 million tdw, forming the biggest fleet tonnage-wise under the Cyprus flag. This includes container vessels between 800 teu and 2,500 teu, 8 Panamax bulkcarriers between 72,500 and 75,000 tdw and 10 tankers between 105,000 tdw and 319,000 tdw. The fleet will soon be enlarged by a newbuilding programme of 4 Panamax product tankers of 75,000 tdw in 2004 and 2 container vessels of 2,600 teu in 2005/6.
The company is a founding member of the Cyprus Shipping Council.

Antonis Kasios was born in Cyprus in 1968. He graduated in 1995 and got his BSC diploma in Computer Science in New York. He began his Communications and IT shipping career in 1999 with Interorient Navigation and was the assistant of the ICT Manager regarding the Y2K problem. In November 2001, Antonis joined Hanseatic Shipping as the Communications Administrator of Communications and Public Relations Department.

Adonis Violaris graduated from the Freie Universität, Berlin in 1993, where he was awarded a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He began his career with Interorient Navigation Co. Ltd in 1993, as the Marketing Manager. In 1995, he also took on the role of Manager of Information Technology.
He has maintained close links with the IT and Communications Industry and is one of the main speakers at various IT & Communication conferences.
Since March 2001, Adonis is the Communications & Public Relations Manager of Hanseatic Shipping Co. Ltd.
