About our events at Europort Maritime 2005
Digital Ship and Tanker Operator are producing a series of six one day conferences in Europort Maritime in November this year, for executives who would like to get updated with the latest management systems, technical and market developments in ports and terminals, purchasing, maintenance, tanker operations, satellite communications and reducing vessel pollutant emissions to air.
The conferences are being held at Europort, one of the largest and most important maritime equipment trade fairs in the world, at Rotterdam, the second largest port in the world. The conferences connect to the Europort theme “touching technology,” with focus on not only the new technical developments but how it is used.
The conferences build on our successful one day conferences held at Norshipping (Oslo, June), where we held five conferences on the same day, attracting between 30 and 70 people, on subjects including tanker operations / TMSA, broadband satcom, navigation technology, control systems and LNG Shipping.

The conferences are designed for shipping industry executives wishing to keep up to speed with the wide reaching changes sweeping through our industry .
Attendance of each event is just GBP 295. The conferences will be held over two days (Wed 2nd and Thursday 3rd of November) in the same building as the Europort exhibition. There is no need to register separately to attend the exhibition - the entry to the conference room is from the foyer to the exhibition, and your conference badge will give you admission to the exhibition.
These conferences will also create a public demonstration of the innovation and commitment the maritime industry has to improving operating efficiency and environmental performance, and contribute to the current international campaign to improve public awareness of the shipping industry.
