Captain Denis Menezes is managing director of Norcomms (Norcomms), a Singapore maritime software company; he is also technical director of Worldyards, an online shipbuilding database, as well as Asian representative of Danaos Searoutes. He is and IT expert who has spent over 8 years in IT programming, systems, networks and internet technology. He has had experience in shipmanagement, maritime training and even in software development for the shipping industry. He is also the recipient of a unique award from the President of Singapore for the social work done in educating millions of people about SARS at the height of the outbreak and also for helping Singapore overcoms SARS.
