Evolution in tanker management systems
The conference will look at the big picture in how tanker operations are evolving - with increasing demands from oil majors, difficulty finding crews, crews spending less time at sea, market reward or lack of reward for increased professionalism, possible penalising of smaller companies). It will look at specific methods being developed to help improve, including TMSA, competency assessment, gathering and using KPIs, condition monitoring, accident investigation, company co-ordination. The conference builds on our series of TMSA events originally held at Norshipping 2005 and since in Athens, Rotterdam, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai.
