Digital Ship America - Sep 10-11 2008
In September this year, Digital Ship will come to the USA for the first time, for our Digital Ship America conference, looking at the technologies and communications systems American shipping companies can use to maintain safety, protect the coastline, maintain morale onboard ships, keep trade running smoothly and earn revenue. We will cover the latest advances in satellite communications technology; latest best practise in using software tools to help keep ships running safely, well maintained and with all necessary supplies; and we will cover the latest developments in e-Navigation, to minimise the risk of navigation accidents.

Speaker enquiries: Karl Jeffery, on jeffery@thedigitalship.com. Please note that we will aim for most of the speakers in the main conference to be from shipping companies / Coastguard / Navy. If you are a vendor interested in speaking, you are welcome to let us know of your interest in speaking, but we will not be releasing speaker slots to vendors until we have made an exhaustive search for shipping company / Coastguard / Navy speakers, or if shipping company people have told us they have a specific interest in hearing more from you. We would be very interested in hearing from you if you are able to convince one of your shipping company customers to make a presentation about your technology, either alone or in a joint presentation with you. We are currently conducting research of our shipping company / USCG / Navy friends in North America to find out what they are interested in hearing more about, and what specific technologies they are interested in hearing about.
