African Seafarers Assistance Network    http://home.planet.nl/~7Easans000/ Rotterdam-based meetings and sporting events for African seafarers Finding that Rotterdam was a common meeting place for African mariners and often a plase where they would wait for new contracts, a group of active and former seafarers from Ghana began ASAN to help promote awareness of African seaferer's needs and to arrange meeting and events. Members now get together regularly for social and sports events. Although the website is not regularly updated, the society is active and all the contact information is here.
