SafeNet for safely managing a ship's lifetime service

ABS SafeShip is a “cradle to grave” solution that sees a vessel through from design and construction to its final survey.

SafeShip consists of four modules:
SafeHull deals with the initial design of the vessel and seeks to identify “sensitive areas” in the vessel structure;
the Enhanced Hull Construction Monitoring module allows the parties involved to enter information regarding those areas;
SafeNet is used during the lifetime of the vessel, allowing the owner to manage maintenance and surveys and contact ABS approved suppliers;
SafeNet Hull Maintenance tracks the condition of vessel components.
