Free forum for relevant health issues 

IMHA is a non-profit making organisation founded in 1997 to promote research and other activities that will contribute to improving seafarer health and to provide a forum for discussing relevant issues.

Here you can download documents covering a range of relevant health issues such as malaria prevention, and action in case of hypothermia. Many documents are also available in Spanish.

IMHA runs a mailing list in English and Spanish covering maritime health issues. Click on the “top page” link above to join. The newsletter back issues are available for download on the website. Other links include an internet refresher course on maritime health.
