Interflora has an easy ordering process on the Internet. Just choose country, type of flowers and quantity, enter the delivery address and credit card details and they’re on their way, complete with a personal message of up to 248 characters. Take note however that Interflora will not deliver to vessels, sea ports, airports or military grounds and delays can be caused by public holidays: a listing by country is available on the site.

Costs can be displayed in a variety of currencies, and the entire site is available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Over 57,000 retailers in around 150 countries coordinate deliveries. If the shop is open, the flowers can arrive within a few hours of purchase, as long as the order is made by 12 noon.

By registering on the site, you can take advantage of the reminder service, which allows you to record details of friends’ and relations’ birthdays. Interflora will then send you an email to remind you not to forget the event, and of course to mark it with flowers.
