North American Maritime Ministry    http://www.maritimeministry.org Christian help and advice over North America and the Carribean NAMMA is a Christian non-profit organisation of individuals and around 180 centres providing services to seafarers. It provides assistance for fundraising events, encourages ministries in ports, helps set up hospitality centres with phone and money exchange services and raises awareness through articles in the press and other agencies. NAMMA has a directory available for download (59kB pdf) giving contact details of those people and organisations who may be able to give assistance. It also runs conferences about seafarer welfare and supports the International Christian Maritime Association in its activities.
