It offers advice and information, a forum for sharing experiences and giving advice (such as blowing the whistle on bad ship managers), and a way to get back in touch with former shipmates. The Money Matters section lets you share your experience of the best deals for time onboard regarding salary, leave and benefits. Crew list lets you advertise your professional services, and links to Deep Sea, Short Sea, Offshore and Cruise sections give more specific information. Full membership costs $10 but joining the database of seafarers is free. All you have to do is enter a few details and former friends onboard can search and find your contact information.
