  UK Hydrographic Office http://www.ukho.gov.uk Digital chart updates, admiralty list of lights and online catalogue  The UKHO is continuing to improve its online and digital data services. Recently, the Admiralty digital list of lights was launched, collating all the necessary data on a single CD and allowing for automatic light list updates through the Internet. The ARCS electronic raster chart service will also soon see an advance in its functionality with the new online update service. Safety critical updates will be available through the website minutes after they are posted. Customers will also soon be able to view a complete online catalogue of Admiralty products. This improves upon the paper catalogue in several ways, notably through weekly updates, and the ability to search using keywords or a clickable world map. Other services, such as the online notices to mariners, continue to prove their usefulness to seafarers.
