The US Coast Guard's Acquisition Directorate has announced the award of a contract for the delivery of the core Nationwide Automatic Identification System data exchange capability to Northrop Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp.

Dutch installations for SeaVSAT

Netherlands-based VSAT provider SeaVSAT has begun work on two new contracts in January, with fellow Dutch companies Spliethoff and Cornelis Vrolijk and Jaczon.

Revised ECS standard published

Special Committee 109 of the Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services (RTCM) has published the latest edition of its standard for Electronic Chart Systems (ECS).
