Samudera to implement Four Soft

Iridium-based tracking for RAL

Royal Arctic Line (RAL), Greenland's principal shipping company, is to install a real-time global tracking system by Blue Sky Network aboard its fleet.
Becker Marine Systems Communication and ClearPoint Weather, a provider of global weather information services, have agreed to establish a strategic partnership, whereby Becker will integrate the ClearPoint High Definition Weather Service into its network communications service.

eLoran service launched in the UK

A new enhanced Loran (eLoran) service was officially launched in the UK on January 15th, a move which will "reinforce safety, security and protection of the marine environment around (our) coasts? according to the General Lighthouse Authorities of the United Kingdom and Ireland (GLAs).
