SingTel launches Office@Sea

Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) has officially launched its new Office@Sea range of satellite communications solutions for the maritime market.
Telaurus has been awarded a communications contract by ship management company Briese Schiffahrts GmbH & Co. KG, to fit its se@COMM system aboard its fleet of 85 vessels.

Sperry Marine has introduced a new eLearning initiative to support its Voyage Management System (VMS) ship navigation software.
Primar has announced the release of version 4.0 of the its Chart Catalogue, with improved features which include an ENC (electronic navigational chart) product information mode, with thumbnails showing ENC content and coverage.

Solid-state radar approved

Kelvin Hughes has obtained European Type Approval for its SharpEye solid-state navigation radar, following testing by QinetiQ, the UK's Type Approval Authority.
