BMT introduces collision simulation service

BMT today announced the launch of a new service that will create simulations of marine collisions in an effort to identify failings and improve safety.

Dutch companies BMT ARGOSS and Charta Software have partnered to develop METRIS, a tool to analyse a port’s approach channel and offer guidance on nautical depth requirements.

BMT SMART today announced the introduction of a Charter Party reporting module within its performance monitoring portfolio.

BMT SMART set for launch

BMT Group has announced the launch of a new commercial operating company which it says will focus on the provision of "innovative vessel performance management and decision support solutions for the maritime industry."

BMT Asia Pacific (BMT), a subsidiary of consultancy BMT Group, has launched two tools for assessing port competition and managing commercial risk. The Port Choice Model and Port 360° are designed “to help clients invest wisely,” explains managing director Richard Colwill.
