ChartCo launches new version of EnviroManager

ChartCo has announced the launch of version 5.4 of its EnviroManager system, used to assist vessels in complying with MARPOL regulations for discharges and emissions.

KVH expands content delivery services

KVH has launched YOURlink, a pay-per-video content delivery service that can be used to distribute company-produced videos to all vessels in a fleet, while also introducing a partnership with ChartCo to transmit digital charts and publications to ships under the name CHARTlink. Both services will form part of KVH’s IP-MobileCast content delivery platform.

Vroon agrees fleet-wide ChartCo deal

Dutch shipping company Vroon has agreed a deal with ChartCo for the supply of back-of-bridge management software and navigational and compliance data services to its entire fleet of vessels.

ChartCo buys Docmap

ChartCo has announced that it has completed a deal to acquire maritime digital document management company Docmap.

ChartCo reports that it has secured what it describes as “significant” new investment from Equistone Partners Europe to fund the continued growth of its ship-board data platform PassageManager, a deal which will see the company leave the Kelvin Hughes Group as a consequence.

Following the completion of a worldwide tender, Teekay Shipping has agreed a deal with ChartCo for the supply of digital and paper charts and publications, flag state documentation and onboard navigational management software to the company’s global fleet of more than 100 in-house managed vessels.

ChartCo and shipping company Seaspan have worked together to develop a new location-based system which aims to assist vessels in complying with MARPOL regulations relating to environmental issues.
