CSR software 7.0.0 released

Classification society ClassNK has released the latest versions of its IACS Common Structural Rules (CSR) structural assessment software.

ClassNK has announced the development of a new software system, PrimeShip-GREEN/PSTA (Progressive Speed Trial Analysis), to help shipyards comply with EEDI requirements.

ClassNK is commencing the provision of cloud-based archive centre services for NYK Lines and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, with the classification society having reached a preliminary agreement with the two shipping companies regarding the use of the As-built Drawings Storage Service (ADSS).

Japanese classification society ClassNK and Finnish software company NAPA have announced that Taiwan-based Wan Hai Lines has chosen their ship efficiency software for use on a recently delivered containership.

Classification society ClassNK reports that it has certified the type specific ECDIS training course provided by Philippine Standard Shipmanagement Inc (PSSI).

ClassNK, IHI Marine United (IHIMU), Diesel United (DU) and IBM Japan have announced that they will jointly develop a ship maintenance management system, with the aim of helping to reduce ship lifecycle costs.
