Cobham SATCOM unveils new antenna platform

Cobham SATCOM has announced the launch of the SAILOR 1000 XTR Ku, the first of a new generation of software-controlled antenna systems designed for quick deployment, operational reliability, simplicity, and best-in-class radio frequency (RF) performance. 

At the end of last year, Alphatron Marine and Cobham SATCOM signed a Certified Service Centre (CSC) contract, enabling Alphatron to join the Service 2.0 network as one of the preferred service suppliers in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Cobham SATCOM has appointed long-term partner Tototheo Maritime to be its representative in Greece.

Triband maritime antenna from Cobham

Cobham SATCOM has launched its Sea Tel 9711 Triband maritime antenna system, a 2.4m maritime stabilised antenna capable of connecting to C-, Ku-, or Ka-band networks.

TUDEV, the Turkish Maritime Education Foundation, has completed the installation of a range of SAILOR GMDSS systems, including Inmarsat Mini-C and maritime radios, on board a new training ship for Turkish maritime cadets.
