Solving the crew-change challenge is proving difficult under the current circumstances, warns crewing specialist Danica.

The Danish Maritime Authority (DMA) is preparing the launch of digital certificates via a new app, allowing seafarers to access their certificates quickly and easily.

Zurich-based MESPAS and Singapore-based NETVISION have teamed up to provide an integrated software package for technical ship management and crewing.

CWind digitises operations with Crewsmart

CWind, part of the Global Marine Group (GMG), a provider of topside, splash zone and subsea engineering services has implemented CrewSmart’s management support service across its fleet of 21 crew transfer vessels (CTVs) and team of offshore wind technicians.

Crew certificate blockchain in development

Maritime Blockchain Labs (MBL), a joint initiative between BLOC and the Lloyd’s Register Foundation, has announced the establishment of a consortium to pilot a blockchain-based seafarer certification system, which includes The Mission to Seafarers, Maersk, Heidmar, PTC Holdings Corp, Hanseaticsoft, Navozyme and C-LOG.

ShipNet in ShipMate tie-up

Maritime software company ShipNet has announced a new partnership with ShipMate to integrate ShipMate’s workflow capabilities for crew management and payroll solutions with ShipNet’s fleet management system, used for safety management, planned maintenance services (PMS) and procurement.

Maritime HR and payroll technology company Adonis has announced that it has completed an integration project to connect its system with the Brightwell Navigator payments platform, with the new capabilities to be made available in the latest updated versions of Adonis Personnel Manager.
