BASS adds Cloud platform

BASS is introducing cloud computing to its portfolio via BASSnet Cloud, which will allow users of the BASSnet Fleet Management System to access the application from anywhere with an internet connection.

Hanseatic adds web-based MRV module

Maritime software provider Hanseaticsoft has launched a web-based Cloud MRV module for managing compliance with upcoming EU MRV (Monitoring, Reporting and Verification) regulations.

Sinochem has agreed two separate software deals to add new systems across its entire fleet of chemical tankers, having agreed a contract to implement DNV GL’s fleet management software ShipManager while also signing a long-term agreement with Seagull Maritime to deliver onboard training.

Indonesian deal for BASS software

Maritime software provider BASS has agreed a deal with shipping company and shipyard PT Usda Seroja Jaya (Usda) in Indonesia, to deploy BASS applications in Usda offices to support its fleet of 70 tugs and barges and its shipyard operations.

Hadi Hammad Al Hammam Group, a service provider to the oil and gas industry based in Saudi Arabia, has completed the implementation of the ABS NS fleet management software package to assist in managing its OSV fleet.

LR invests in Hanseaticsoft

Lloyd’s Register (LR) reports that it has made a “significant investment” in Hamburg-based ship management software provider Hanseaticsoft, as part of the class society’s strategy to improve its range of digital services.

Oldendorff Carriers has reached an agreement with BMT SMART, a subsidiary of BMT Group, to roll out the SMARTFLEET fleet performance management platform along with a vessel data collection system to drive improved efficiency in the operation of Oldendorff’s ships.

Nathalin, a petroleum and chemical tanker operator based in Thailand, has agreed a deal to implement the BASSnet fleet management software package from Norway-based BASS across its three offices and on board its fleet of 38 tankers.
