Inmarsat has announced that the FleetBroadband Multi-voice service, a new capability that will allow up to nine simultaneous telephone calls to be made through a single FleetBroadband terminal, is now available.

Vizada and its partner SRH Marine Electronics report that they have signed a 24-month agreement with Danaos Shipping Co. Ltd to equip the company’s fleet of 63 vessels with a broadband communications system.

Vocality has announced that it has started shipping its BASICS Multivoice for FleetBroadband hardware platform, for use with the forthcoming Inmarsat Multi-voice enhancement to the satcom terminal.
