French consortium launches anti-piracy system

A consortium called Autoprotection, led by France-headquartered technology company Sagem (Safran), has launched its new BlueDome product, an integrated system designed to protect commercial ships against piracy.

Lycée Maritime Jacques Cassard in Nantes has signed a contract with Kongsberg Maritime for the delivery of an Engine Room Simulator.
