Kongsberg for BP Shipping tankers

Kongsberg Maritime today announced that it has secured contracts of approximately NOK 145 million ($24m) for the delivery of integrated navigation and automation systems for a series of 14 crude/product tankers ordered by BP Shipping.

Lycée Maritime Jacques Cassard in Nantes has signed a contract with Kongsberg Maritime for the delivery of an Engine Room Simulator.

Kongsberg Maritime today announced that it has won a contract to supply a full mission Engine Room Simulator (ERS) to the Regional Maritime University (RMU) in Accra, Ghana.

NZ institute orders K-Sim Engine

Kongsberg Maritime says that it will supply an Engine Room Simulator (ERS) to the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) in June. This will be its first ERS delivery in New Zealand.

Kongsberg celebrating 200th anniversary

The Kongsberg Group is celebrating 200 years in business today.

Kongsberg Maritime today announced that it has secured contracts worth approximately NOK 118 million ($20m) to supply Dynamic Positioning (DP) and automation systems to ten pipelaying vessels ordered by Brazilian corporation Petrobras.

Kongsberg Maritime today reported that Royal Caribbean has installed its new data management system KIMS (Kongsberg Information Management System) on board the Allure of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship.

Kongsberg RADAR for Volkeraksluizen
