MTN Communications has announced that Silversea Cruises is renewing and extending the companies' 9-year relationship, and is set to increase the breadth of communications services MTN will provide its eight-ship fleet.

Euroconsult’s ‘Maritime Telecom Solutions by Satellite: Global Market Analysis & Forecasts, 3rd Edition’ report, released last week, has estimated that the maritime market now has more than 11,000 active VSAT terminals, with just 10 providers having 1 per cent or more of the market.
