Vikand partners with the Global Maritime Forum

Maritime medical and public health specialist Vikand has announced that it is partnering with the Global Maritime Forum to work collaboratively with liked-minded shipping companies to establish robust ecosystems to help improve seafarer human sustainability.

IB changes its name to Arribatec Marine

IB has changed its name to Arribatec Marine as a way to reflect that company’s affiliation with the Norwegian-based tech multinational, Arribatec Group, as well as its commitment to the maritime industry.

OneWeb and Marlink have joined forces to bring OneWeb’s high-speed, low latency connectivity to the maritime, energy, enterprise, and humanitarian sectors.

A joint development project (JDP) between ABS and Nakilat - Keppel Offshore & Marine (N-KOM) will examine how techniques developed by ABS for its programme of remote survey of vessels in service can be applied to surveys and inspections in the shipyard.
