Marlink has added a new prepaid voice card calling facility for use with the Inmarsat Fleet Xpress network, noting that it is the first Value Added Reseller (VAR) for the Ka-band service to provide prepaid cards.
Marlink reports that it has extended its satcoms contract with Dutch shipowner De Poli Tankers, via its in-house ITC company Maritime Performances BV, to provide Sealink Plus VSAT and L-band back-up services aboard De Poli’s fleet of eight chemical tankers and two gas tankers.
