Navarino signs MoU with OneWeb

Navarino has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OneWeb to become a global distribution partner to deliver high-speed, low latency connectivity to the commercial shipping industry.

Bureau Veritas (BV) has awarded a type approval certification to three of Navarino’s maritime solutions, Infinity, Angel, and Spectrum.

BW LNG, BW LPG, and Hafnia have chosen to install Infinity Cube, Spectrum and Angel from Navarino, in a major upgrade to their respective fleets of LNG, LPG and product tankers.

Netherlands-based Vroon, which operates 120 deep-sea and offshore-support vessels, is preparing to roll out Navarino’s IT-as-a-service solution ‘Quazar’ on its vessels.

Newport chooses Navarino as technology partner

Newport SA has chosen Navarino as its technology, communications and connectivity partner.

Navarino has launched a new application for maritime users that unifies real-time corporate communications under a single platform. The application, Waavia 7, instantly connects every member of an organisation, no matter where they are.

Shipping company Z. & G. Halcoussis, which has a fleet of seven bulk carriers equipped with Fleet Xpress (FX) and Infinity Plus from Navarino has recently added Navarino’s Spectrum service to its suite of solutions for IT managers.

In 2016, Athens-based shipping company Meadway Bulkers began equipping its 13 bulkers with Fleet Xpress and Infinity from Navarino. IT manager Konstantinos Kritkos and superintendent engineer Stelios Chaidemenakis discuss how Navarino’s bandwidth management and optimisation tool has made their day-to-day work more efficient.

Danaos is working with Navarino on a major project to install Inmarsat Fleet Xpress (FX) across its fleet of 69 vessels, using Sailor 100 GX terminals.

Kyklades Maritime is using a combination of Fleet Xpress and Infinity plus from Navarino, as well as other autonomous technologies that connect over satellite with land-based facilities, to enhance the efficiency of its operations and expand its options for business applications.
