Navis, part of Cargotec Corporation, has partnered with Microsoft China, terminal equipment manufacturer ZPMC and infrastructure advisory firm Moffatt & Nichol to form a joint taskforce on automation systems for container terminals.

Navis has added a new Hull Monitor module to its fleet performance management software Bluetracker, to be used to track degradation in hull performance resulting from self-polishing, fouling or damage.

The Navis Bluetracker monitoring and reporting software has been declared ‘MRV Ready’ by DNV GL, following a validation gap analysis audit conducted by the classification society confirming that the MRV module supports three of the prescribed four monitoring methods and collects all MRV-relevant data.
