Transas to supply VMS to Lerwick Port

Transas has signed a contract with the Lerwick Port Authority to install a new Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) to cover Lerwick Harbour, in Shetland in the UK, replacing the Harbour’s existing system.

Three-year PGS deal for Fugro

Fugro has been awarded a three-year contract by PGS for the provision of satellite positioning systems for its entire seismic vessel fleet.

Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) has agreed a deal with Radio Holland for the supply, installation and commissioning of 23 FMD-3300 Furuno ECDIS, and to extend its Global Service Agreement with the company covering 230 BSM vessels across the world.

VTS for Corsican port

The Port of Ajaccio, the main commercial port in the south of Corsica, has added the latest generation maritime Vessel Traffic Surveillance system from Transas, as part of a project implemented in partnership between the Territorial and State Authorities of Corsica.

Transas ECDIS has been selected for installation on board 20 Indonesian surveillance vessels, the company reports.

Radio Holland reports that it has completed a customised cruise ship bridge retrofit on the MS Noordam for Holland America Line.
