OneWeb confirms successful launch of 34 Satellites

OneWeb has confirmed its successful launch of 34 satellites by Arianespace from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, bringing OneWeb’s total in-orbit constellation to 322 satellites.

Inmarsat launches narrowband network, Elera

Inmarsat has unveiled a global narrowband network, Elera, that will provide rapid speeds and low-cost terminals for its L-band customers.

COMSAT bolsters Inmarsat network

Satellite connectivity solutions provider COMSAT is extending the life of Inmarsat’s existing satellites through the leasing of an additional antenna at COMSAT’s Santa Paula, CA. teleport.

Intellian has launched the next generation of its v240M dual-band 2.4m antenna and Intelligent Mediator. The new v240M Gen-II and Intelligent Mediator Gen-II enable auto-switching between C- and Ku-band communications, GEO and MEO satellite tracking, and management of up to eight antennas and modems.

OneWeb has announced the successful launch of 34 more satellites onboard a Soyuz launch vehicle from the historic Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan. Lift-off occurred on March 21st at 17:06 UTC. OneWeb’s satellites separated from the rocket and were dispensed in nine batches with signal acquisition anticipated in the coming hours.
