Tritec moves to latest shipbuilding software

Tritec Marine Limited has upgraded its shipbuilding software package, moving to version 6.7 of the Autohydro Pro hydrostatics, stability, and longitudinal strength application to benefit from its latest features.

IRClass has announced the release of a new technical software package, IR-CSR, for oil tankers and bulk carriers to verify compliance with the recently mandated Common Structural Rules (CSR) issued by the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).

Paramarine implemented at IIT Madras

QinetiQ’s Paramarine ship and submersible design software is to be implemented by the Ocean Engineering Center of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Madras, to support the training of its students.

Shipbuilding software company Sener has launched the new version of its marine CAD/CAM system, FORAN V80.

ClassNK has released a new version of its PrimeShip-HULL (HCSR) software in response to the updated IACS Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers (CSR BC & OT).

The Korean Register (KR) reports that it has overhauled its ship design support software package, SeaTrust-HullScan, to more efficiently handle the process of applying incoming Harmonized Common Structural Rules (CSR-H).
