Brenock announces “Idea Pipeline” platform

Brenock Technology, a provider of software applications and consulting services for the maritime and other industries, has announced its new employee engagement and idea management platform, Idea Pipeline. The cloud-based enterprise engagement tool allows human resources directors, organisation leaders and other department heads to source and implement ideas and solutions from their employees, through a digital platform.

GateHouse invests in software start-up

GateHouse Igniter has invested in software start-up CleanQuote, which supplies a digital platform to facilitate communication between dry bulk shipping companies and hold cleaning suppliers.

OneOcean has launched LogCentral, a secure, easy-to-apply digital tool that aims to make collecting and sharing vessel data simple and quick. The tool can be used immediately with no prior training.

Two Danish software companies, Logimatic and Soft-Team, have formed a new alliance to offer their two solutions as one. The new solution will see Logimatic add Soft-Team's OMEGA payroll and crew management software to its product portfolio.

VesselMan has signed a long-term agreement for the provision of cloud-based project management software with BOURBON, a marine service provider in the offshore oil and gas industry. BOURBON operates in 44 countries with a modern and standardised fleet of 458 vessels. The agreement follows a six-month trial and review. 

“The digitisation of the docking operations will help our engineers and superintendents to optimise costs, capitalise experience and gain efficiency and reliability all over the docking process. This long term partnership with Vesselman and Bourbon is finally a great added value for vessel owners, as the high level of docking expertise of Bourbon will be ‘smartly’ more accessible" said Raphael Briere, managing director of Bourbon Black Sea, the maintenance and docking expert entity of BOURBON group.

Glenn Edvardsen, CEO of VesselMan, emphasised the value VesselMan added to Bourbon. He also noted the importance from VesselMan´s side to be working closely with their clients and that the solution is tailored-made to their needs and priorities.
