NAUTIS simulator for coxswain training

VSTEP has announced that it has delivered a NAUTIS simulator to Seafood and Maritime Industries Training (SMIT) in Darwin (Australia) for specialised ship handling, manoeuvring and radar training of coxswains.

VSTEP has announced that six of its NAUTIS Desktop Simulators have been installed at the headquarters of Egypt’s Regional Institute for River Transport (RIRT) in Cairo.

ECDIS trainer on one laptop

VSTEP, a Rotterdam-based developer of simulators, has announced new functionalities for its NAUTIS line, including a portable ECDIS trainer and 3D glasses for a 110° immersion.

VSTEP announced that it has secured a contract with the Caribbean Maritime Institute to equip its new simulation centre in Kingston (Jamaica). The Rotterdam-based company says that it will deliver all simulator solutions for the facility, including a NAUTIS Full Mission Bridge Simulator and a Class C Engine Room Simulator.

Training technology usage expands
