ChartWorld and Adveto agree ECDIS OEM deal

Swedish company Adveto says that it has secured a new deal for ECDIS OEM licences with a value of 2.5 million SEK (approximately US$372,000) under a cooperation agreement with ChartWorld.

The agreement is for an initial order and is related to the production of ChartWorld's new eGlobe ECDIS product.

“ChartWorld International and Adveto signed an agreement in November last year regarding the new cooperation where Adveto’s accumulated knowledge is fitted into the new eGlobe ECDIS,” explains Jochen Rudolph, managing director of ChartWorld.

The deal with ChartWorld represents Adveto's largest single order since the company was founded, in the mid-1980s.

“We are proud that ChartWorld International selected Adveto and our ECDIS knowledge for this high status project,” commented Kent Sylvén, managing director of Adveto.
