The orders were taken by Danelec’s distributor Xiamen Huayi for OSVs being built at a shipyard in Fujian province.

Danelec had already booked 48 orders for its DM100 VDR from nine Chinese shipyards last month.

“Our success in the China shipbuilding market is attributable to the efforts of our hard-working distribution partners like Xiamen Huayi,” said Hans Ottosen, CEO of Danelec Marine. “We are taking steps to beef up our sales and service support for our Chinese distributors through our new office in Shanghai. We have also established Certified Service Centres in China to ensure ready availability of products and spares.”
