Radio Holland expands VSAT coverage

Radio Holland has extended its Ku-band VSAT coverage above Northern Europe and Russia, with improved coverage now stretching from the Kara Sea to the Pacific Ocean.

{mprestriction ids="1,2"}The company says that the additional coverage from the Yamal 402 Northern beam should provide new communications options for companies operating using the Northern Sea Route.

Parts of that passage are currently free of ice for only two months per year, but it is increasingly being used as a new shipping route.

Radio Holland’s VSAT global network operates using the iDirect Evolution platform and includes Service Level Agreements, 24/7 Support and automatic beam switching.{/mprestriction}
