Humboldt Ship Management opts for HubbaX for Chilean ships

“Our HubbaX 4 Duo is now established as an effective alternative to VSAT when operating within mobile access,” said Steve Smith, managing director of Buzz Marine.

“With our powerful and robust marine specific antennas we are able to provide effective connection when the vessel is operating even up to 20 miles offshore which encompasses a range of vessels from ferries and tugs to coastal merchant ships.”

“Passing around the South American coast between mobile providers is handled seamlessly by our duel SIM facility and for those vessels which operate beyond our effective mobile access, the system can automatically flip to the ships VSAT with our VSAT auto-switch facility. We are looking forward to working with Humboldt Ship Management again in the near future with other vessels in their substantial management fleet located in other parts of South America.”

The HubbaX 4 Duo offers multi frequency options to allow use in various global regions, using a 9-40V DC power supply or 110 – 240v AC with EU/US or UK style plug options. The MIMO high gain antenna is multi directional to connect to the strongest signal available.{/mprestriction}
