KR and Dongkuk Steel sign MoU for technology exchange

The Korean Register (KR) has signed an MoU with steel producer Dongkuk Steel regarding technology exchange between the companies, to cooperate in improving the process of building ships and marine structures.

Kim Chang-wook, KR executive vice-president said: “This agreement consolidates the relationship between KR and Dongkuk Steel, one of the great steel companies of the world and the second largest in Korea.”

“We expect to generate many synergies from this MoU and I look forward to working together to deliver enhanced products and services to the international and domestic maritime sector.”
