Marorka and the Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute (SMDERI) have signed a cooperation agreement that will see the companies establish a product training and demonstration centre in Shanghai and work together to promote energy management and operational performance systems in the Chinese market.

The new agreement was signed by Juergen Kudritzki, CEO of Marorka Iceland, and Dong Jianfu, president of SMDERI, in Shanghai.

“This is an exciting cooperating agreement that will lead to significant environmental benefits and sizable financial gain for the Chinese shipping industry,” said Marorka, in a statement.

“Marorka is proud to be a part of the cooperation with SMDERI and looks forward to working closely with them to fulfil the agreement.”{/mprestriction}
