Safebridge adds German flag training

Safebridge has released its latest course, relating to German maritime legislation for captains from EU countries who are in command of a German flagged vessel.

{mprestriction ids="1,2"}The course, required by the Seafarer’s Competency and Qualification Order (SeeBV), is approved by the German Federal Maritime Hydrographic Agency (BSH) and was developed in co-operation with German flag stakeholders.

The nine-day classroom training course consists of six chapters and an introduction to the German language. The six chapters cover all content required by the curriculum contained in Annex 2 of the Seafarer’s Competency and Qualification Order.

The course is offered at the Safebridge Training Center in Hamburg, but the company says that it can also be conducted at the customer’s premises on request.{/mprestriction}
