Springfield pushes for further energy efficiency

Springfield Shipping Co of Greece is to extend its use of Eniram’s energy efficiency technology across its VLCC vessels.

{mprestriction ids="1,2"}Springfield Shipping, the technical managers of the Olympic Shipping and Management fleet with 17 double-hulled tankers and 10 bulk carriers in its stable, says that the move is part of its drive towards greener transportation.

“We are delighted that Springfield Shipping Co, Greece’s leading shipping entity, has decided on the further roll out of Eniram Platform and Eniram Fleet on their vessels,” added Nick Pinkney, director of LNG and tankers, Eniram.

“With our current installations, we have provided business intelligence to help Springfield Shipping understand how their vessels can save fuel and improve overall energy efficiency.”
