“With our fleet increasing by 40-50 per cent in the next few years, we wanted to choose a software which aids us in our growth and gives us the right platform to integrate to modern technologies,” said Majid Al-Shenaiber, senior VP, information technology, Bahri Group.
Bahri currently owns 91 vessels, including 44 VLCCs, 36 chemical/product tankers, six multipurpose vessels and five dry bulk carriers, with an additional two VLCCs on order. The company also runs a network of agents across the Middle East, Africa, the USA, Europe and Asia.
“This partnership is truly important for us as it establishes our presence in the region and our plans to partner with leaders in the Middle East,” said Sankar Ragavan, CEO, MariApps Marine Solutions.
MariApps Marine Solutions, part of the Bernhard Schulte Group, has now installed its PAL ERP system on more than 900 vessels.{/mprestriction}
