Wan Hai Lines joins INTTRA

Taiwanese shipping company Wan Hai Lines has joined the INTTRA network, a maritime digital trading platform which offers the ability to transact container orders online.

{mprestriction ids="1,2"}Wan Hai is one of the biggest intra-Asia carriers based on market share, with that sector representing the largest containerised trade in the world. The Taiwan-based company has also expanded to the US, South America and the Middle East in recent years.

By connecting to the INTTRA network the container carrier will be able to use the platform to conduct and manage operations including booking, shipping instructions, eVGM, Track and Trace, Bill of Lading, as well as Ocean Schedules.

“Wan Hai has all along been developing our EDI platform. With the addition of INTTRA, we hope to provide another option to our customers and further enhance our EDI services,” said Randy Chen, vice-chairman, Wan Hai Lines.

INTTRA says that it is currently seeing approximately 800,000 container orders initiated each week on its platform.{/mprestriction}
